Borneo Bloggers Award

Hello everyone...

This is my very first blog post and i am not exactly sure what to post. Well, i thought it would be nice if i could start with this information.

I am actually surprise to notice that blogging are quite familiar among Malaysian, especially Sabahan. Recently, the Borneo Blogers Award contest, which is organised by BorneoColours.com had generated huge bloggers interest with 43 blogs eligible for nomination and actually started early this year. five Sabahans are among eight selected bloggers vying for the Top Borneo Blogger Award. Sarawak, brunei and Kalimantan (Indonesia) are each represented by one blogger, in the running to grab crash prize of RM10,000 among other.

In case you haven't heard about BorneoColours.com, it is basically a community portal with the intention of promoting and showcasing the colours of borneo to the world. Generally speaking, BorneoColours.com features are quite similar to Facebook social networking especially in term of content sharing capability. So, it is a decent effort to organised such competition not only to encouraged blogging activity but also as a platform for bloggers to showcased their creativity.

For the blog criteria, bloggers are judged for their content, style and originality and judge via online voting system. Now, what make these 8 bloggers the best? perhaps, we could try to visit their blogs and learn how they organised their content; how they select their style or maybe how to ensure originality. For our reference/education purposes, these are the eight best blogs.

Yes, these bloggers are well-deserving. Somehow writing is not everyone's piece of cake much more making people be interested to read beyond the title lines. Kudos!
